We know how Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling feels, but now Harry himself has dived into the fray on the comparisons between the Republican Presidential candidate and He Who Must Not Be Named.
Radcliffe was cornered on the red carpet yesterday evening by Sky Cinema's Craig Dillon and was asked if he thought that Donald Trump and Voldemort had anything in common and Radcliffe gave a very astute and insightful response.
"I sort of think Donald Trump might not be as, urm, as ideologically pure as Voldemort," he told Dillon. "My thing on Trump is that he feels like more of an opportunist, like I don't know how much of this stuff he's saying he actually, really, really believes."
Still, he's willing to admit that the "comparison is not without its merits".
Keep fighting the good fight, Harry.
