Kaluuya beat out hopefuls Timothée Chalamet, Florence Pugh, Josh O'Connor and Tessa Thompson to take home the only award decided by the public at last night's BAFTA Awards and if you think his winning speech was fun, wait until you see how he was after.

In his onstage speech, a clearly surprised and overwhelmed Kaluuya went blank and through in some London slang when he remembered where he was in what was probably the most memorable speech of the night as he thanked his fellow nominees, arts funding in the UK and his mum (who is definitely getting the trophy).

But it was fresh off the stage where it looks like it all sank in and Edith Bowman was the first on hand to help a speechless Kaluuya understand what was going on.
