During Sunday's match between Barcelona and Villarreal, one of the spectators fired a banana at Barce's Dani Alves as he was lining up a corner which is an unfortunately common racial taunt often directed at darker skinned players.
But what Alves did in response, which happened in a few short seconds, was just pure class.
After the match Alves commented on the incident when asked saying: 'I don't know who threw the banana but I want to thank him. It gave me the energy to put two more crosses in for our goals.' Barcelona went on to win the game 3-2.
