To be fair to cat lovers and people with a fear of heights, even if you're outside this Venn diagram this video is still borderline traumatising.

Singapore SPCA posted this video showing one of their workers rescuing a kitten from the ledge of a 12-storey window yesterday as part of World Animal Day and it is not for the fainthearted.

According to the SPCA, rescue officer Yao Huang, arrived at the block and proceeded to the 12th storey apartment while police officers remained on the ground with an opened blanket in case anything went wrong with the rescue mission.

Thankfully the kitten was compliant and was swiftly reunited with its owner (who was advised to mesh up the windows and gate on his apartment) and seemed remarkably chilled about its brush with death.

The rest of us, however, are still reaching for inhalers.
