Los Angeles Lakers player Ronnie Price showed that he knows you need to leave everything out on the court...including your shoes.

Ronnie Price and the Los Angeles Lakers took on the Golden State Warriors last night in a preseason game, but that didn't mean that Price was going to be giving it any less than 110%. Where did he find that extra 10%? In his shoe, of course.

Having lost the ball (and one of his runners) as he approached the basket, he found himself scrambling to his feet and trying to do his best to stop an attack as he ran/hobbled his way back down the court, and decided that throwing his shoe at the ball to dispossess the opponent was the best course of action. This, as we have learned now, is a technical foul, but we have nothing but respect for it.

The Golden State Warriors, who the Lakers were playing, saw the funny side of it obviously, and went straight for what might be the only movie reference about shoe throwing on their Twitter account.

Well played, Golden State Warrior Twitter person. Well played.
