The President of the United States took some time out of his day to make a quick phonecall to the staff and players of the US Women's team who claimed World Cup victory this weekend.
Obama was in pretty good form too as he joked around with the players for taking the suspense out of the game after they raced into an early and insurmountable lead, and also asking Carli what she's been eating, after she put in one of the great performances in the final to score a hat-trick, including an amazing goal from the halfway line.
