As you've probably seen in the news and across social media, America has just made marriage equality legal across all 50 states.

The announcement, made by the Supreme Court of the United States, has proclaimed gay marriage for all and it's been hailed as a landmark moment in American history.

One of the plaintiffs who brought the case, Jim Obergefel, was speaking on CNN when he received a phone-call during his interview from none other than President Barack Obama.

Take a look.

In his phone call, Obama called the decision a landmark moment in history and praised Obergefel's leadership.

What a day, eh? We did it first, but whatever. Good for you, America.
