It's often said that when the ground is slick and wet, players enjoy those conditions because it allows them to get some extra fizz on passes and shots. 

It also means that they can get a bit more purchase and distance on their slide tackles too, which is exactly what Arsenal U-21 striker Chuba Akpom did in last night's match against Aston Villa. 

His casual approach to the art of tackling is what you might fairly call a striker's challenge, as it is the essence of nonchalant. He could be lying like this on the couch, rather than sliding in to win the ball.
