The Champions League is the most watched annual sporting event, and while the eyes of millions around the world were on their TV screens on Saturday to see Barcelona triumph over Juventus, it seems your average American is still not that in to football.

This short video somewhat confirms that, as the folks at GQ asked a few people to identify Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, two of the most famous and talented players in the world, but they struggled quite a lot to do so.

A few of them did know who the players were, and had some knowledge about the game, but it seems that GQ want us to think that the average American really doesn't care about soccer all that much...yet, anyway.
