Former All Blacks player Jerry Collins and his family were involved in a car crash in France recently which claimed the lives of him and his wife, and left their daughter in a critical condition in hospital.

Today, in a touching gesture, members of the New Zealand rugby team paid tribute to both Collins and his wife Alana Madill at the site of their crash near the southern town of Beziers, where the spot has been marked with a white cross.

In this short video, shared by Neemia Tialata, several members of the team who are based in France performed their traditional Haka at that spot, to say goodbye to their friend in the most fitting way possible.
