As ever, Alan Partridge has got his finger on the pulse of society.

He's fully aware that TV is a dying art and that it's obvious to people like him that the future is not in TV where dragons, whom he reminds us have been extinct for millions of years, are considered cutting edge.

No, the real cutting edge storytelling is in books, 'E and paper'.

'Nomad' is the follow up to Steve Coogan's hilarious alter ego's first memoir 'I, Partridge'. It sees Alan charts the highs, lows and mediums of his one-man walking tour around Britain.

“Through witty vignettes, heavy essays and not inducing pieces of wisdom, I shine a light on the nooks of the nation and the crannies of myself. It’s a piece of work of which I’m immensely proud and if I had to sum it up in one word it would be: hope.”

'Nomad' will be released on October 20th and if there's any justice in the world, Coogan will also narrate the audiobook like he did with 'I, Partridge'.
