It's often easy to look back on childhood experiences with a tinge of nostalgia, but between naps, playtime and finger painting, most of us would admit that we didn't know how good we had it in preschool.

Well, one woman in Brooklyn has decided that the opportunity to relive those carefree days should be given to adults again, and has set up her own pre-school so that you can forget your worries and just colour stuff in for a while. You probably don't even need to stay within the lines if you don't want.

The woman behind the school is Michelle Joni Lapidos, who decided to make the experience as true to the real deal as possible, with lots of fun things to do from Play-doh to field trips. Of course, the essentials like dress-up, snack time and nap time are also scheduled in.

Getting the chance to act like a child will cost you between $333 and $999, depending on how much you can afford. The course lasts for one month, and takes place in the evening, so that you can go and do the adult stuff you need to do to pay for it during the day, like work. Lapidos does have, as she puts it on her website "nearly half a degree in Early Childhood Education", while her assistant Miss Can Can has a Master's in teaching, so this isn't an amateur set up.

The goal of the school is to "inject play, wonder, self-belief, and community into our grown-up lives", so if you've got the desire to spend more time finger painting and less time typing in front of a screen, then you might want to start booking your flights to New York.
