The Miami Beach Bowl was a brand new tournament that kicked off yesterday, and thanks to a massive brawl, it will be sure to be remembered for quite a long time.
This was the type of brawl where there were some serious digs thrown, and a couple of cheap shots too, not your average scuffle with just pushing and shoving. The game itself was a hugely exciting one, where the Memphis Tigers grabbed a last-gasp victory in double overtime against the Brigham Young Tigers by a score of 55-48 thanks to an interception, which brought about some pretty wild celebrations.
Those celebrations clearly rubbed a few people up the wrong way as a huge fight broke out at one end of the field, which then turned in to an all out brawl as the sidelines emptied and both teams went at it.
It appears as though a few different players tried to use their helmets as a weapon against other players who were not wearing head gear at the time, while some proper punches and kicks were thrown in before the whole incident was calmed down.
