Like ten thousand spoons when all you need is a knife, rain on your wedding day and a free ride when you've already paid, the news that the second mascot for the Heart Attack Grill (actual name of the restaurant) in Las Vegas died of a heart attack toes the line of irony that confuses us. Especially since the tagline for the restaurant is 'Taste worth dying for'.

52 year old John Alleman visited the Heart Attack Grill every day for his fill of giant hamburgers, extra-fat milkshakes and lard-fried chips, and was such a regular feature in the restaurant that he was on the menu and merchandise as 'patient John'.
