Photographer Terry O'Neill, the man who took incredible photographs of some of the world's most infamous people, has passed away after a battle with prostate cancer.

Terry O’Neill was one of the world’s most collected photographers, with much of his past work hanging in national art galleries and private collections worldwide.

The iconic photographer took pictures of pop stars, presidents, and everyone in between over the span of six decades. Over that period of time, he managed to get photos of Amy Winehouse, Mick Jagger, Frank Sinatra, Freddie Mercury, Muhammad Ali, Brigitte Bardot, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, Audrey Hepburn and many other household names.

The 81-year-old Londoner passed away at his home on Saturday. Tributes have been pouring in from many of his fans online, who are sharing some of their favourite photos taken by him.
