Unless you've been living under a rock for the past week, you've probably heard the name Conor McGregor by now. The 24-year-old Dublin native won his UFC debut fight last Saturday in Sweden, announcing the emergence of a brand new bona fide Irish sports star.

The Internet, and particularly the US media, have been falling over themselves to praise McGregor for his athletic ability and charming character since announcing himself on the world stage of Mixed Martial Arts where he was awarded a €60,000 bonus for 'Knockout of the Night' - not bad for a guy who had been collecting €188 a week from social welfare just a couple of weeks before his breakout fight.

The media interest in McGregor continues to rise, too. McGregor and fellow Irish MMA fighter Cathal Pendred will join Ryan Tubridy on The Late Late Show this Friday evening for what will surely be a very interesting chat. As well as that, UK based magazine Fighters Only have made a documentary about Conor and you can check out the trailer for that below.
