We've all had those work days where we wished there was a special area for us to nip and get a much needed nap in (particularly the day after the Christmas Party).

Well that dream has taken one step closer to being a reality thanks to this entrepreneur.

19 year old Aqil Raharjo, a graphic design student from Toronto has invented the desk hammock. A hammock portable hammock which hangs neatly and simply under your work desk.

He told Tech Insider that he got the idea from "observing a friend of mine who seemed exhausted and told me that she didn't sleep for two days."

"However, the inspiration itself came from a Facebook group that [was created] to share funny pictures of sleeping people in my university."

The hammock can be adjusted to fit any size desk and can also be rolled up neatly and shoved in your bag for when you're on the move.

It might be a tricky one to get the boss on board with at first but we're sure they'll come around to the idea once you get them one of their own.

Raharjo is currently looking for investors and you can keep up to date on production at Schnap's Facebook page
