Some people will, either publicly or privately, declare that women's football is incomparable to the men's game. A certain Mr. David Hickey decided, having watched a recent match, that he'd send in a letter to the newspaper to that effect.
He happened to catch the game between England and Germany on Sunday, and decided that what he had seen was nothing like the standard he had come to expect from the Premier League and other top men's teams around the world.
That inspired him to pen this letter that perfectly explains exactly why it was so different, pointing out along the way that those women who were proud to represent their countries on the weekend had no clue about the game at all.
