Given the roasting weekend we've had, there's something especially satisfying about watching this video. We can almost feel the relief of that cool water splashing through the screen.
And given that dogs are basically crap at hiding their emotions - be it happy, sad, excited or otherwise - we can take it that this lad enjoyed every second of that bounding leap into the water.
The unnamed doggo was captured on camera being released from the shackles of the (presumably hot) car, and within seconds was practically flying into the lake.
There's just something so damned satisfying about that landing that we can't help rewatching it over and over again.
