We're guessing they're not basing the entry requirements on whether you look like early 90's David Hasselhoff or Pamela Anderson.

Tramore is getting a €500,000 training centre for lifeguards for Irish beaches. The National Lifeguard Training Centre, as its known, will cater to the "ever-growing interest in surf lifesaving, a discipline in which Tramore has produced several international competitors."

That's according to Michael Cuddihy, chairman of Tramore Surf Lifesaving Club.

The centre will act as a base for Tramore Bay's lifeguards during the summer season and for the Tramore Surf Lifesaving Club on a year-round basis.

As well as this, the centre also boasts a panoramic view of the beach which hopes to be fully operational in time for summer.

That's great and all, and Tramore's a beautiful place, but if nobody plays this at least ONCE during their time there, it'll be a wasted opportunity.
