After yesterday's attack on the offices of Charlie Hebdo which claimed the lives of 12 people, there were a number of powerful tributes today from around the world.
Fellow journalists, satirists, and cartoonists around the world were shocked yesterday after an attack on the offices of Charlie Hebdo, a satirical magazine in Paris, claimed the lives of 12 people.
While the response has been one of outrage by most, much of the reacion has taken the form of artistic expression. Many newspapers today dedicated their front pages to cartoons and images by artists that express the sense of loss and the even stronger feeling of defiance that many feel in the wake of the violence inflicted on their colleagues and friends, and they are make for some extremely powerful images.
