Revealed on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon', Elba appeared via satellite link to talk about his newest accolade. Smattered on the front of the new cover of the magazine, Elba is described as a "sweet, smouldering, superstar."
Elba, who was recently announced as being part of the cast for the upcoming 'Cats' adaptation, said he was honoured with the award. The actor took to Twitter to say, "Who'd have thought it! Thank you @people & all the fans for naming me #SexiestManAlive." He also reminded Americans to vote in the US Senate elections today:
