John Mullane, you're some boyo.
A story about a terrible but hilarious mix-up in Waterford has gone viral (well, by Irish standards) on social media.
First shared by Twitter user (the brilliantly-named) @motherofnaggins, it's a WhatsApp voice message of a guy telling a story about a man called John Mullane, who made a critical error of judgement.
We don't want to say too much, because part of what makes it hilarious is the way the unnamed narrator tells it. Let's just say that it involves a friend called Eoin Madigan who "went off to Australia", a card, and a terrible mix-up with postage.
We hope the recipient's family had a good sense of humour...
