Kate Middleton made a bit of a blunder yesterday at an event in the UK and may have just given away the sex of the future heir to the British throne. And after Charles and William get a go at being top monarch, it looks like we're going to have another Queen on our hands.

Kate was in Grimsby, which looks and sounds just as grim as it's name, for a tour of the National Fishing Heritage Centre. Okay, maybe grim is an understatement. Anyway, she was doing the obligatory tour and meet and greet with the common folk when someone handed her a teddy bear to which she allegedly replied 'Thank you, I will take that for my d... for my baby'. Now she could very well have almost said her dog, because let's face it, you don't know where that bear's been and when you're a Duchess you probably give that crap straight away. But that 'D' drop was more than likely an almost 'daughter', even though she denied knowing the gender of the baby when pressed.

According to The Sun, a woman named Sandra Cook was standing next to the bear donor, who pressed her about the slip of the tongue. 'When she shook hands with me I said, ‘You nearly slipped up there, you were going to say daughter, weren’t you?’ She smiled and said, ‘What do you mean? We don’t know yet’. I teased her and said, ‘Oh I think you do’ — to which, still smiling, she replied, ‘We’re not telling.'.

What are the odds that if the bouncing baba is a girl they'll call her Elizabeth, what with Will's gran and great grandmother both being Elizabeths? Or will they  Plus it's regal enough for the throne (and they can recycle all the existing money with Liz II's face on it). The baby is due in July so we're all just going to have to be patient and play the waiting game for any confirmation.
