The police can have an interesting sense of humour.
Earlier in the week, a 20-year-old student called Lawrence Court from Cardiff University in the UK received a highly unusual message on his phone.
It read: "Hello, it's the police on Cameron's phone. He is very drunk and we are dropping him home."
What proceeded was some back-and-forth between participants in the conversation, as Cameron's friends remained sceptical that it was actually the police, as you would be.
So last night the police interrupted our group chat in the most spectacular way 😂😂 pic.twitter.com/prA8HfJOu8

So what did the police do after they'd dropped Ron safely at home? Lawrence told Mashable: "We don't actually know and neither does Ron.
"I assume they put him to bed and continued their shift!"
It cannot be easy putting up with the s*** that drunken students get up to so fair play to the police.
