The Luas Twitter page is currently running a poll that poses the question: Have you seen someone perform an act of kindness on Luas? And it's the funniest thing to happen to the Dublin City tram company since the joke that it was free to ride.
The first mistake that the Luas made was to assume that Irish Twitter would take their question seriously, at least if the responses are anything to go by. With 2744 votes and counting, 94.9% of voters have claimed not to have ever seen an act of kindness on the tram and the replies are hilarious.
Okay, so some people — 5.1% — have witnessed some kindness.
While others are just having a good time.
Some are a wee bit cheeky.
