Despite beating Italy 26-3 in Rome, the Irish rugby team have fallen to fourth in the official world rankings.

The side had been third overall, following the impressive wins over South Africa and Australia during the Autumn Internationals, but have now been overtaken by England, after they beat Wales 21-16 in the Millenium Stadium on Friday night.

Probably a little harsh on Joe Schmidt's side, considering they've now put together an eight-game win streak, but no doubt they'll care more about the 6 Nations table than world rankings seeing as they currently top the tournament, and have a chance to increase their lead with a victory of France this weekend in Dublin.
