A new campaign from the people behind the Luas has gotten a lot of support on Twitter, as they revealed a pretty unique hashtag.
The campaign is focused on getting people to think twice before they decide to dodge a fare on the tram service, and the fact that it would be embarrassing to be caught and have everyone staring at you on the tram.
With that in mind, they've chosen the hashtag #Scarlet4U, which is a fine example of Hiberno-English, and the people of Twitter are fairly happy about it.
So I'm calling it, @Luas has won twitter #Scarlet4u pic.twitter.com/FgjNPXTcdT

Of course, there are a few people who think that maybe it's not the most appropriate choice they could have made.
the fact that luas is literally using that hashtag #Scarlet4u in their new campaign is hilarious... this country

Can only assume a transition year student on work experience is responsible for the Luas' new hashtag. #Scarlet4u

We're not so sure, are the kids even saying scarlet these days? Have they not moved on to some new thing we've never even heard of? Or some emoji of some sort? Honestly, we haven't a clue anymore...
