We lost a genuine legend today, not just of Irish broadcasting, but since the medium began - be it radio or tv and at home or abroad.

Terry Wogan touched more lives over the course of his 77 years than we'd dare to count, so naturally everyone is keen to pay their respects. Well, with the possible exception of whoever thought this headline was a good idea in the UK edition of The Daily Star newspaper.

Lads, really?

Cultural sensitives aside did the man not deserve a more sombre, fitting headline!?

Naturally enough, Twitter has reacted to this with a fair amount of anger as the front page broke on Sky News' account

You can read some of the tributes that poured in for Terry over here. RIP, sir. You will be sorely missed.
