When they say don't mention the war, they mean don't mention the war, especially not if you're going to suggest that Hitler was a superhero.

Students at one of Thailand's top universities painted the Nazi dictator among a host of superheroes on a giant banner, saluting students and congratulating them on their graduation. The enormous piece appeared outside the art facutly of Chulalongkorn University, and was only torn down two days later after complaints were made.

The university claimed that the students who painted the image had absolutely no idea that hat image of the dictator would be offensive. They were completely ignorant when it came to the whole thing, apparently.

"(We) would like to formally express our sincere apology for our students' 'Superhero' mural", The art school's dean, Suppakorn Disatapundhu, said. "I can assure you we are taking this matter very seriously."
