A girl was arrested in England after claims that she drop-kicked a child in a Nando's bathroom.

A 13-year-old girl has been arrested in South East London after it was alleged that she drop-kicked a toddler in the bathroom of a Nando's. Jade Scott, a mother of two, brought both Lilly and Ralph, her two children, to the restaurant as a treat earlier this week.

At one stage, Lilly got up to take her brother to the bathroom and in there an argument of some description occurred in which the suspect, who cannot be named, was alleged to have punched and then drop-kicked three-year-old Ralph.

Speaking to ITV News, Scott said "I was so angry at first, then I began to cry because I just couldn't understand why someone would do that to my little boy. It made me feel degraded to be honest and that I failed him as a mum and let someone violently abuse him."

The police confirmed that a 13-year-old girl was in custody in relation to an incident of a restaurant in that area but was on bail "pending further enquiries".
