The following is taken directly from The Sun online: "Dirty Dancing hunk Patrick Swayze was said to need a miracle last night - after being told pancreatic cancer could kill him in five weeks. Doctors are understood to have warned Swayze, 55, to prepare for the end. The disease has spread to other organs, according to US reports yesterday. And a source said: 'It's time to start praying for a miracle.' Swayze, who also starred in the 1990 hit movie Ghost, has been having radical chemotherapy at Stanford University's cancer centre in Palo Alto, California... He was told he could have two more treatments but his cancer was not responding. 'In short - they hold out little hope for a cure.' The star's doctor George Fisher confirmed last night that he is battling pancreatic cancer but was hopeful, saying: 'He appears to be responding well to treatment. We are considerably more optimistic.' Fisher also added a further statement today. He said: 'Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment thus far. All of the reports stating the timeframe of his prognosis and his physical side effects are absolutely untrue. We are considerably more optimistic'." OK then. It's safe to say someone here is misinformed. Bottom line is Mr. 'Hungry Eyes' is sick. We wish him and his swinging hips the very best.
