Stephanie Roche's campaign to win the coveted Puskas Award continues unabated.
Roche is in the final three to claim the title, up against Robin Van Persie and James Rodriguez.
However, the former Peamount United star has been receiving abuse from online quarters.
One Twitter user - now suspended - promised to "kill 69 four-year olds" if Stephanie Roche won the Puskas Award, calling her an "Irish w****".
The Shankill native responded and the account has since been suspended. It's likely that Gardai were informed of the situation as Twitter's Code of Conduct takes threats seriously.
@April30th2012 are u actually for real? Ur a disgraceful human being.
