When Sylvester Stallone asked that people "leave his son's memory and soul in peace", that request obviously didn't extent to 18-year-old sons of half-siblings.

Edd Filiti - the son of the 'Rocky' star's half-sister Toni Ann - has vented his anger at the 66-year-old actor and his wife Jennifer Flavin, claiming they neglected 36-year-old Sage Stallone, who was found unresponsive at his Studio City apartment in Los Angeles on last Friday.

Edd naturally saw fit to talk about this on his Facebook page. Referring to Sylvester not returning Sage's call when he rang to wish his father happy birthday recently, Edd posted: "What did he do wrong, say happy birthday? Neither you nor Jennifer could return a phone call, which is all he wanted, his father. I know you don't care what happened, but you'll care when you're squirming under the burning magnifying glass of public opinion. You people make me f***ing sick."

Edd, 18, also claims Jennifer - who has been married to Sylvester since 1997 - "tore this family apart" when she tied the knot with the actor. In the post, which has since been deleted, he continued: "Jennifer Flavin, you won. You tore this family apart and got your trophy, Congrats! Like you told my family, 'I'm Sly's family now, he doesn't [need] you anymore.' Lets see how much he needs you after this. (sic)"

Sylvester who lost his son from his first marriage to Sasha Czack yesterday said "when a parent loses a child there is no greater pain. Therefore I am imploring people to respect my talented son's memory and feel compassion for his loving mother Sasha. This agonising loss will be felt for the rest of our lives. Sage was our first child and the centre of our universe and I am humbly begging for all to have my son's memory and soul left in peace."
