As the after effects of the Ashley Madison leak becomes more evident, a blogger has managed to work out the stats for its Irish user-base.
Cian Clarke worked up the numbers for Ashley Madison and they're pretty fascinating. According to his investigation, there were some interesting results and some pretty obvious ones.
89% of the users were men - no surprises there. However, the 'Kinks' section of the data suggested that of the users, the vast majority of the users said they preferred to give oral sex as opposed to receive. Dublin was the most popular locale for Ashley Madison users, with Athgarvan, Curragh and Ballyhaunis proving to be the least popular.
As for turn-ons, a sense of humour was most important whilst someone liking 'routine' was the least popular. 33.4% of users claimed they were of average body-size, with 13.4% claiming they were muscular. For non-smokers, only 0.7% claimed to smoke regularly - however the vast majority left that information unspecified.
For colleges, there were a number of users. 74 accounts were linked to Trinity College whilst just 15 were linked to UCC. For e-mails, there were a few interesting ones. Users included the Defence Forces, the Gardai, the Revenue Commissioners and a Government address.
