Pamela spent three whole days in the Australian Big Brother house and got paid an impressive wedge for her time. The 41-year-old PETA activist said: "(The pay cheque was) huge, a lot... Much more than I am worth. I don't want to say how much but it is a lot." And guess who presumably contributed to her pay packet? KFC. Yep, apparently the overlords of chicken savagery are one of the show's sponsors - and Pammy didn't have a clue: "Every show has a bunch of sponsors and it's not something you look into when you are offered a job. But it's kind of interesting, it's a coincidence."

Upon hearing the news, Pamela was quick to lead a protest outside a KFC eatery in Sydney, saying: "I've been in Australia filming Big Brother House (?!), in which my housemates and I are confined and sealed off from the outside world, much like the chickens who are crammed inside barns for KFC. Fortunately, I won't be stomped to death, have my legs broken or be scalded to death in a tank of hot water, yet as PETA's (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) undercover videos have revealed, the chickens raised for KFC's restaurants in Australia often suffer these abuses."

Being such a publicly staunch supporter of animal rights (to the point of slandering people who sport 'Real Girls Eat Meat' slogan t-shirts), you'd think someone would've brought KFC's involvement to her attention before she agreed to her ample pay cheque... which she'll presumably be handing back in further protest, or giving to charity...
