Some dude from Devon called Matt Fiddes, who was introduced to Michael Jackson a number of years ago by Uri Gellar, had this opinion of the popstar's love/drug life:
"I'm not going to name who she is but I think the family were aware that there was someone special in his life who he loved and adored and had his ups and downs with. I don't know how long they've been a couple. I know she's been with him for some time in different capacities but...it's up to her if she wants it to come out or the family to speak about this very private information." Yeah, so why are you talking about it?
The "martial arts expert" went on to say: "I never witnessed him actually taking drugs but I knew they were there and I confiscated packages, and Uri did too. And Uri confiscated injection equipment from his room... Uri would scream at Michael, you know, intensely, to stop doing this but we were getting pushed out. The doctor had such an influence over Michael that we felt our efforts were falling on deaf ears. As far as I'm concerned they have Michael's blood on their hands, they know what they've done and there's people out there who could have helped, could have stepped in but didn't do for financial reasons."
As well as the "Michael Jackson had a girlfriend!" news, these nuggets are also worming their way around the grapevine today:
1: The Jackson's will not have a public viewing at Neverland: "Contrary to previous news reports, the Jackson family is officially stating that there will be no public or private viewing at Neverland. Plans are underway regarding a public memorial for Michael Jackson, and we will announce those plans shortly."
2: Michael Jackson's will from 2002 (worth $500million) has made an appearance, and it stipulates that, if his mother is unable to look after his three kids, he'd like the children to be under the care of Diana Ross: "If any of my children are minors at the time of my death, I nominate my mother, Katherine Jackson, as guardian of the persons and estates of such minor children. If Katherine Jackson fails to survive me, or is unable or unwilling to act as guardian, I nominate Diana Ross as guardian of the persons and estates of such minor children". Debbie Rowe and Joe Jackson were "intentionally omitted" from the will.
3: A factualised nugget from Wikipedia: "One night while Michael was asleep, Joseph climbed into his room through the bedroom window. Wearing a fright mask, he entered the room screaming and shouting. Joseph said he wanted to teach his children not to leave the window open when they went to sleep. For years afterward, Michael suffered nightmares about being kidnapped from his bedroom."
4: Quincy Jones has decided to give the funeral a miss: "I've lost my little brother and part of my soul has gone with him. I won't go to any more funerals as long as I live. After Ray Charles and MarvinGaye, I've had enough of funerals..."
