Britney's original manager (i.e. the one she fired, before the tyrannical reign of Sam Lufti) has confirmed that the singer has gone back into the studio. It's with a view to making an album, but, you know, it's all about having a bit of fun, at the end of the day… Rudolph said she "is spending her summer in the recording studio, working on a brand new album. She's working with a team of top-notch producers and songwriters and we're very excited about what she's accomplished so far. No album release date has been confirmed yet... She's like, 'I want to go to the studio because I want to have some fun' and that's what it's all about. There's no schedule, there's no agenda, there's no anything. She is just enjoying herself." Seemingly, when she's in the studio, "She's giggly," he added. "Some days she'll go in and get nothing done. Some times she'll just play around a little bit." Isn't that nice. OK, to put this into perspective, I happen to know a smidge about studios having been a receptionist (essentially a door opener) in one, many moons ago. Said studio cost in excess of €2,500 a day. But, presumably this isn't an issue for Britney; hey, she probably has her own studio... comprising of stickle bricks, a Jelly Tot Neve and a copy of SingStar, which Larry drives her out to every day.
