The Simpson elder rarely gets a look in nowadays, what with the spotlight currently fixated on her younger sister's womb. Not having an album to promote, Jessica is instead focusing on people's perception of her as some sort of sporting jinx. Even the President is getting in on the act. Seemingly, when the New York Giants (who recently beat Romo's team the Dallas Cowboys) visited George Dubyah last month, he quipped: "We're gonna send Jessica Simpson to the Democratic National Convention." Whoever wrote that for him is quite the joker. When asked why the President chose to say this, Jessica said: "I don't know - other than me wearing my man's jersey and cheering him on. And him not playing the way he would've hoped and all of a sudden I'm to blame. That was ludicrous. I don't understand why they think that I would be a distraction to Tony. Do they really think he can see way far up in that box? (OK, go easy on the imagery there, Jessica) No. He's the most focused person I've ever dated." What, more focused than John Mayer?! I dunno, Jessica, it's pretty hard to focus on boxes, or the like, when you've got a baseball cap reefed that far down your face. It's almost... it's almost like he's ashamed to be seen with you? Hang on... are you actually pulling him along by his shirt?
