This is an excerpt from her portion of the new Girls Aloud book/autobiography. It's called something along the lines of Glittering Delusions, and will be coming 'atcha like a noughties version of Cleopatra presumably in time for Christmas.
"People make mistakes, stuff happens. I believe everyone should be a free spirit. Even in my marriage, Ashley's a free spirit. I'm not his keeper. I believe in letting people live their lives and be free, so Ashley can have time with his friends when he wants, he can go out when he wants... I can't hurt anymore than I've been hurt, I can't cry any more than I've cried... Society has its own rules about marriage but I have my own and I'm changing and learning all the time... I still feel there are things I need to sort out in my head, that some things in my life are up in the air."
Unlike that new replacement engagement ring (worth roughly €202,000) she's dragging around - chuck that in the air and it'd leave a crater the size of Newcastle faster than you can holler "PAYBACK!"
