Two people prone to adultery are getting married you say... we're all thinking the same thing, aren't we. Who's going to do the dorty first? Romantic, I know.
What was romantic, however, was the proposal itself, which took place during a golf tournament in Scotland. This's according to Warne himself, so bear that in mind.
The former cricketer confirmed that he did get down on one knee in Scotland but denied that he did it in front of a herd of people. Contrary to reports from the likes of Sky News, Shane, 42, wrote on his Twitter page yesterday: "I didn't propose in front of 200 people at dinner. It was done privately and was very romantic - if I say so myself. PS left knee is sore! Thanks so much again for all your kind messages, they mean a lot... EH and I very happy and have had a beautiful lazy day today."
Warne proposed to 46-year-old Liz aaafter dinner on Friday at a hotel in St Andrews, where he was taking part in a pro-am event. I've swiped a few photos from trusty Google Images, all of which see him with his arms crossed while Liz attempts to get busy with his face. How very Australian of him.
