Earlier this week Brazilian motorists got held up in traffic when an elephant seal decided to take in the sights of Balneario Camboriu - a beach resort town in Southern Brazil.
The half tonne seal waddled through the street and managed to hold up traffic for more than an hour as it lumbered across the road doing its best Beatles Abbey Road impression. Police and a rescue team splashed water on the misplaced mammal until it eventually headed back to its watery abode. This’ll make you think twice the next time you get annoyed with someone slowly making their way across the street.
