If you’re a Scrabble enthusiast, and feel the need to bring it with you wherever you go, but feel the smartphone App is blasphemy, they’ve made a solution for you.
Now if all of that does actually apply to you, maybe have a quick look in the mirror. It’s only a board game, but still, a board game that’s now getting an overhaul.
Scrabble Twist is handheld version of the game that makes you create words from the five letters which it supplies. Just punch in the words, twist the end, and pass it on to the next person before your time runs out. It can be played one your own, against a friend, or in a “party mode” that let’s up to eight players join in.
It might seem like a slightly more educated game of pass the parcel, but does look like good fun, and should be available for under €20, so it's not going to break the bank.
The only problem I can see is that there’s no easy way out when you’re losing, as I doubt flipping the device over will end your misery. Looks like we might just have to gets more smarter instead.
