Believe it or not, science has proven that a few drinks will make anyone look good.

A recent study at the University of Bristol has determined the magic number for people to start looking attractive.

The study polled students and showed them a side-by-side picture of a person after one or two glasses of alcohol and one who had taken none.

The study found that the students favoured the person who had taken one glass, claiming they looked better and more rosy-cheeked than one who hadn't.

Professor Marco Munafo, who ran the study, claims that one drink is enough to be perceived as attractive, saying that "if they go on to consume more alcohol, they'll no longer be seen as attractive."

"The people who had consumed a small amount of alcohol had a slightly rosier complexion," Munafo explained. "Rosiness is attractive because it characterises good physical health characteristics."

The same students were then given a drink and asked to look again at the photos, with similar results.

One drink is all you need, folks. That fifth Jager Bomb isn't going to help, but it'll feel great on the night.
