Ireland, as we know, is a perennially divided country.

In the time of myth, it was the Fomorians and the Tuatha Dé Danann. Then came the Normans and Strongbow's invasion. After that, you had the British. After that, came the Irish Civil War and the Pro-Treaty and Anti-Treaty forces. Now? It's Lyons Tea versus Barry's Tea.

This war has claimed no lives and there are no monuments to its victory, but this is a war that has played out in countless skirmishes across our land and has turned brother against brother, daughter against mother, and now, it has engulfed the world of American celebrity.

Sarah Jessica Parker, who's apparently in Ireland at the minute, has declared herself a Lyons Tea woman.

Behold.

Now, we must consider that this is by no means a sign of endorsement for the Lyons Tea side of this endless conflict - but it certainly does speak to a certain affirmation. The truth is, we need to track down Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis and find out what the rest of them think.

Our money's on Cattrall being a Barry's Tea woman.
