It's not like Sarah Jessica Parker to be overly dramatic about something.

The 49-year-old actress admits she has an awkward relationship with social media because it's taken her so long to get used to it, but she fears it could land her in a spot of bother if she's too 'honest'.

The Sex and the City star also revealed that she "can't help but" become emotionally tangled up in the website because she feels the need to respond to every one that sends her a tweet.

She explained to Cosmo: "It has been complicated for me, I am often conflicted by it and my participation it... I still feel conflicted about the conversations I have with Twitter. I feel like I need to respond to every single solitary plea for a retweet or a birthday wish... or a note of encouragement, or a sick child or a parent. I feel like I am constantly falling short of those wishes and requests. That is complicated for me personally."

If you say stuff like "I am not complaining about Twitter, I am just trying to figure it out. And to have a relationship with it that I think is honest, but also so it doesn't somehow destroy me", Twitter will destroy you.

Just use it to tweet pictures of your new shoe line. Winner all round.

If you want to send SJP a lurry load of tweets to see if you can get a response/break her, her twitter handle is @SJP. Given she only tweets on average every second day, I doubt she has anything to worry about.
