We all kind of knew there was something up with Sarah Harding, you know, ever since she had that reported meltdown while filming Chris Moyles's crap quiz night and went on to end things with her fellah. Well, she's in rehab for alcohol issues.

The Girls Aloud starlet split with fiancé Tom Crane last month and is said to have hit 'rock bottom' in the wake of her heartbreak, according to The Sun - who's 'Caner of The Year' title is obviously providing immense comfort right now.

Given she was awarded said title by the tabloid on a number of occasions, it's not news that the 29-year-old is famed for her wild lifestyle. But now, she's believed to have admitted herself to the overseas treatment facility in an effort to get her life back on track. A Girls Aloud spokesman confirmed, "Sarah Harding has entered a treatment centre for depression and alcohol addiction." A source added, "She's been through a traumatic time in her personal life and had to honour her work commitments on top *waves at Moyles*. She needs some time out to clear her head. Splitting from Tom has played a huge part in her decision to seek help. She just needs to get herself back on track emotionally. She had hit rock bottom."

Harding has recently finished shooting the movie Run For Your Wife (plugplugplug) and was due to reunite with the band for a tour in 2012, but the insider said that everything, 'just got the better of her'. "She had been with Tom for a long time. All her plans for the future suddenly came crashing down. Some of her closest friends had suggested she seek help over the last few months, but she refused. She was burying her head in the sand, but now she is getting support."
