Bringing back Ossie Ardiles and adding a few new names, RTE have put together a formidable line up for the World Cup.

With Didi Hamann returning along with Ossie Ardiles to join the regulars of Eamon Dunphy, John Giles and Liam Brady, the RTE World Cup panel was looking set to send Bill O'Herlihy off with a bang, this being his last tournament before he hangs up the microphone.

However, a few more big names have been added to that line up with former USA international Brad Friedel joining the crew, as well as Neil Lennon, who was recently in the news for leaving Scottish side Celtic. They will also be joined by Real Madrid coach Paul Clement, fresh from his side's success in the Champions League this season, and a very interesting character who should bring some great insight to proceedings.

Alongside them we can expect to see Richie Sadlier and Ronnie Whelan who were on great form for the Confederations Cup previously in Brazil, as well as Brian Kerr, Ray Houghton, Jim Beglin and Trevor Stephen, who will be on commentary detail. The tournament starts on June 12th, and you can catch all 64 games on RTE via their TV channels or online coverage.
