Robert Pattinson's friends don't want him to reunite with Kristen Stewart for obvious reasons.

The Twilight actor - who was left devastated when he discovered his girlfriend of four years had cheated on him with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders - has decided to forgive the actress, even though his mates reckon he's a bit of a numpty for doing so.

A source told Us Weekly: "His friends don't want to see him hurt again. They can't stand her. But Rob has hope in their romance."

The couple have been having secret meetings in the guest house of a mutual friend's Los Angeles home as they work through their problems and insiders say they will soon go public with their romance.

An insider told RadarOnline.com: 'They're working it out - he's still in love with her. They will announce they're a couple again in a few months.' Let's say on November 16th.

Kristen recently insisted their off-screen drama won't affect their promotion of 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2' in mid-November (around the 16th, in fact). Speaking at the premiere of On The Road at the Toronto Film Festival, Kristen said: "We're going to be fine. We're totally fine."

Bella is determined she won't let her 'momentary indiscretion' affect their professionalism or let their fans down. Speaking of her almighty cock up, Stewart said at the time: "This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob... I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."

Respect and love go hand in hand Kristen. You don't screw around on someone you respect.
