This is too adorable not to share. 1-and-a-half-year-old Iron Man fan Jaxson Denno went on a rollercoaster of emotions when he had to face the harsh reality that Iron Man isn't in fact real and that Robert Downey Jr. is merely an actor.
RDJ is in the towns of Sunderland Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts shooting his latest flick The Judge, and was on a stroll when he crossed paths with one of his biggest and youngest fan. However, when Jaxson's mother Heather explained they were in fact meeting Iron Man, Jaxson burst into tears because he wasn't 'real'. And poor Robert was left to try and pick up the pieces, visibly upset at the turn of events.
'He was fine as soon as he talked to him.' Heather told People magazine, saying Jaxson 'was so confused because I kept telling him it was Iron Man and he knew it wasn't. Well, not Iron Man in the suit.' Let's hope Downey Jr. threw in some cash for this kid's therapy when he's older. Bless.
